The person behind the plan.
Philip Cheng (鄭任中) holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and is a licensed Wealth & Risk Management Consultant in Hong Kong. He serves as Chief Executive of the GBA Elderly Services Development Association and sits on the HKCT Professional Education & Training Committee, working across retirement planning, asset growth, risk management and Greater Bay Area elderly care.
Rooted in Hong Kong, he has watched the genuine hardships of an ageing city: longer lives alongside strained medical and care resources, and most people with little awareness of retirement risk until a crisis arrives. When the Government encouraged retirement in the Greater Bay Area, he travelled across the region himself to explore the feasibility of Hong Kongers retiring north, inspecting communities and experiencing the medical and living environment first hand.
To meet Hong Kong's increasingly severe retirement challenges, he brought together four core pillars—asset growth planning, risk management, local welfare policy, and premium Greater Bay Area eldercare communities and medical resources—to create Smart Retirement Blueprint HK. Beyond delivering all-round retirement planning, it dismantles the long-standing pain point of fragmented information. He firmly believes that retirement is never a passive wait, but a stage of life you can plan proactively and control on your own terms.
